Who I Am
A highly-qualified safety professional with over 25 years of experience in environmental, safety and health; over 30 years of electrical experience in industrial and commercial projects; and over 40 years in the construction and industrial fields. Mr. Vasilash is an OSHA Training Institute, University of Hawaii and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Pro Board Safety and Health instructor for professional, academic and trades organizations. As a senior safety professional, he is recognized by management and trades for leadership and communication skills, “hands-on” field experience and understanding of industrial and construction processes.
Mr. Vasilash has the experience, knowledge, ability and skills to build and develop rudimentary safety programs into nationally recognized award winning safety cultures.
Having firsthand field experiences enhances his ability to teach these safety related subjects. By applying these “real world” situations to promote awareness and recognition of potential hazards in the workplace and knowledge to eliminate or abate these hazards.
His commitment and passion for the safety of the workers, projects and community has been recognized by the State of Hawaii and the American Society of Safety Engineers by selecting him as the Safety Professional of the Year.
